Mail!

Just last weekend i placed an order on a pair of earphones off eBay (gotta love eBay) and to my surprise it arrived today! It took only a week to fly it all the way from California to Malaysia! That's wonderful because sometimes it takes twice as long to receive something from Australia to here and that's less than 7 hours away! The postman just left the package on the top of my mailbox which was kinda daft because some random passer-by could have just took it.

Anyway, traditionally i always take a picture of the mail package when it arrives which is rather unnecessary if you come to think about it.

So here's what i came to order from eBay because i wanted to get a pair of decent earphones for my netbook (because the speakers on those things are crap). So what better option to go for than an earphone which is on CNET's Best earbuds list. Also, there's the fact that i got it for just $13.99 which is about $15 cheaper than buying direct from the website.

back to work!

Music Not For Your Ears

This post might seem a little outdated to some, but i'm sure most of you are still unaware of what i'm about to show you.

Ever since the mp3 player was made popular and affordable to almost everyone, we've come to see several generic mp3 players mostly coming from China. These are the kind of players you expect to see in a landfill just weeks after you've bought one. However, Creative has somehow managed to 'creatively create' a similar product which may join the lot.

It's called the Zen Moo and no, it's not a hoax. In essence, it's actually a Zen Stone that most of us are probably familiar with. What Creative has done is; they've managed to slap on some extra plastic onto it to form a shape of what appears to be a cow. Hence the name.

Seriously i don't know who their target audience is but it's probably young children (apparently blasting music into your children's ears at a young age is a good thing). OR...or, it's one of those girls in their 20s you see in Taiwanese variety shows who act like they're 6.

I've seen some pretty bad mp3 players over the years, but this really tops the list. CNET describes the Creative Moo as a "surefire way" to insult your girlfriend. So by all means don't get her one of these unless you're trying to break up with her.
